"American Music Awards 2019" : Ariana Grande et Post Malone en tête des nominations

Ariana Grande peut être fière de sa carrière. Actuellement en pleine tournée avec son Sweetener Tour porté par ses deux derniers albums Thank U Next et Sweetener, la star américaine est omniprésente dans le monde de la musique pop. Chanteuse talentueuse, business woman avertie et comédienne en herbe, l'artiste vient en effet de rejoindre le casting de l’adaptation cinématographique de la comédie musicale The Prom, réalisé par Ryan Murphy (Glee, American Horror Story, Nip/Tuck, etc…) en étroite collaboration avec Netflix. En plus de son rôle d’actrice, la jeune femme donnera surtout la réplique à deux immenses pointures hollywoodiennes, à savoir Meryl Streep et Nicole Kidman, mais aussi au célèbre humoriste et animateur de télévision James Corden, connu pour son émission The Late Late Show with James Corden. Un vrai casting de rêve pour celle qui débute au cinéma.

Pour autant, Ariana Grande n'en oublie pas son premier amour : la chanson. Et pour cause... La jeune femme de 26 ans qui interprète la bande originale du film Charlie's Angels intitulée Don't Call Me Angel avec Miley Cyrus et Lana Del Rey, promet de faire un carton à la cérémonie des American Music Awards 2019 qui se déroulera au Microsoft Theatre de Los Angeles, le dimanche 24 novembre prochain. En effet, la popstar est nominée dans six catégories : "Artiste de l'année", "Tournée de l'année", "Clip favori", "Artiste du web favori", "Artiste féminine de l'année" et "Album pop de l'année".

Si elle domine clairement le palmarès des nominations, un artiste reste néanmoins en tête : il s'agit de Post Malone ! En effet, le rappeur américain originaire du Texas est l'artiste le plus nominé de cette cérémonie avec pas moins de sept nominations.
